COUGH AND COLD - RAINY SEASON - TIPS
From ancient times ,our people practiced many recipes to cure cold and cough with some kitchen articles. Below are some important recipes.
1.)
2 lemon fruits juice ,
boiled water - 2 1/2 cups ,
honey - 1 spoon
mix all the above and take daily at night before sleeping.
2.) ginger tea .
Ginger pieces - 1.5 inch size ,
water - 1 cup ,
sugar- half spoon .
Add ginger to the water ,boil well ,filter it and add sugar ,drink at luke warm state.
3.) vaamu powder - 1 spoon ,
pack this powder in a cloth and smell it,cold will be cured ,keep this packet on the bed ,near the children nose ,till morning their cold will be relieved .
4 .) FOR HEAVY COLD
peppers powder - 1 spoon ,
milk - 1 cup ,
turmeric powder - 1 pinch .
Boil the milk with peppers powder ,add turmeric powder,allow it to cool ,take once a day for 3 days.

6 peppers powder ,
1 glass warm water ,
half spoon sugar.
Mix all the above ,take at night for some days. .cold will be cured.
6.) 1 spoon cumin seeds ,
1 glass of water .
Boil the water ,add cumin seeds ,boil well ,filter ,mix it well ,allow it to cool .take it 1 or 2 times per day. .cold will be cured. .if you have throat pain along with cold ,then add some 'shonti ( dried ginger ) ' to the above boiling water , and take.
7.) FOR COLD WITH COUGH SPHUTM
10 Tulsi leaves ( holy basil ) ,
2 garlics ,half inch ginger piece ,
5 peppers powder ,
1 cup water . .
mix all the above ,boil well ,make it 1/4 cup ,allow it to cool ,filter it ,add 1 spoon honey ,take this daily in the morning . .
8.) FOR DIGESTIVE SYSTEM DISTURBANCE -
15 To 20 tulsi leaves juice ,
1 pinch of rock salt ,
mix the above and take. .
9.) FOR INDIGESTION -
5 to 6 cinnamon ( dalchin ) pieces ,
1 glass of water ,
some peppers powder ,
some honey ,
mix all the above ,boil well ,make it half glass ,take it at half an hour of after meal .gastritis ,indigestion problem will be cured.
